General Artwork Specifications
ALL Imprinted orders receive
a FREE faxed paper proof for your approval before we
start production of your item.
MyShopAngel will be as flexible as possible in
accepting any artwork you submit. We will work with you
in trying to make the end result meet your standards.
However, to keep the process as efficient as possible,
please be aware of the following requirements.
Free Clip Art Gallery
we have hundreds of FREE clip art images you can use
with your imprint. When ordering just indicate the clip
art number with your order, and we will include it with
your imprint for Free.
Artwork: Acceptable Formats &
Specifications
- Camera-ready
- High-resolution, to-size, crisp black and white or
color-separated art.
- - We prefer .eps, .ai, .cdr files.
Other files like .jpg, .pdf, .doc, .tif will be accepted.
Although rare, these files may incur an art charge if your logo
cannot be reproduced cleanly from them. If
necessary, we will contact you before charging any
additional art fees
- Faxed art, letterhead and business cards will be
accepted, but may incur an art charge if your logo
cannot be reproduced cleanly from them. If

- Electronic/Digital
- Platform: PC (Please save all MAC files in
PC version converting all text to outlines)
- File types: CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Pagemaker,
Word
- File format: native file format, .cdr, .ai, .eps
(converted to black and white or outlines).
- Fonts: All necessary fonts must be
converted to curves/outlines or included with the
file.
- Include all support files for page layout
files.
- File compression: WinZip (PC)
- Transmission: 3.5" floppy, CD, Zip (100/250)
or e-mail artwork@myshopangel.com. A laser-printed, color-separated and
labeled copy may accompany the
electronic/digital file.
- Embroidery disks may have additional special
requirements and must be digitized.
- For 4-color process/halftones and percentage
colors, please contact our customer care department
for detailed guideline.
- Limitations
- Microsoft Office programs i.e.,
Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint etc., are not
graphic programs and are not recommended file
formats and may incur an additional art fee. We will contact you before charging any
additional art fees.
- We do not recommend Jpeg (.jpg) or
low resolution bitmaps (600 dpi is lowest acceptable
resolution for bitmap format) as artwork files.

- Any additional art fees will be
charged at $20 per hour
- Production Proofs
- Paper proof may be required for most orders and
all orders over $500.00
- Production proof may be required for orders over
$1000.00
- Proofs must be approved within 1 day of receipt to
avoid production delays
- Changes to actual proof are subject to additional
costs and new lead times.
- General Charges
- Artwork charges must be approved before the
decorating process begins.
- Artwork requiring enhancement, change, separation
or touch-up will incur
an art charge.
- Quotes for art work charges are available from our
art department prior to
order placement.

HINTS TO
EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER
Information to be Included with your Order:
- Indicate artwork was emailed when submitting order
- Attach artwork layout of the imprint when mailing
order
- Artwork must be sent, or faxed to customer service
or artwork may be emailed to graphics
Information to be Included with the Emailed Artwork:
- Order number and date of order
- Your company name and phone number
- Program the artwork is created in
- Art files must indicate layout information only.
- The order will not begin to be processed, unless
all information is complete.
