July 9, 1984, National Ice Cream Month was first proclaimed into public law by President Ronald Reagan, and National Ice Cream Day is celebrated the 3rd Sunday of every July! Many companies participate in National Ice Cream Month, so be sure to contribute by visiting your local/favorite ice cream joint.
